Licensed Massage Therapist & Founder of Majec Therapy
My path into bodywork began in 2000, during a season of life when I was burning the candle at both ends as a sous chef in a boutique patisserie in Tarrytown, New York. A cancer diagnosis became a powerful turning point—one that changed how I understood health, balance, and the body’s ability to heal. During that time, I received Craniosacral Therapy from a skilled massage therapist, and the experience profoundly shaped the direction of my life and career.
In 2016, I stepped away from the culinary world and committed fully to massage therapy. I graduated with honors in 2017 from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (Westport Campus) and immediately pursued advanced education. My continued studies include deep tissue techniques with Joe Muscolino and oncology massage training through Tracy Walton & Associates in Boston, Massachusetts.
A cornerstone of my work is Craniosacral Therapy, which I studied extensively through the Upledger Institute. This gentle, light-touch modality works with the fascial system and central nervous system and is especially effective for stress reduction, pain relief, anxiety management, and nervous system regulation.
As a therapist, I am deeply committed to listening—truly hearing how each client experiences their discomfort. I provide a treatment environment that is safe, respectful, and free of judgment. I believe bodywork is a powerful first line of defense in healthcare, and meaningful change takes time, awareness, and commitment.
Healing is a collaborative process. Often, I invite clients to reflect on an important question:
What are you willing to change in your daily routine to help bring your body back into balance?
